Color theory has fallen into my innocent paws for the first time. I thought it was a pretty easy concept. I still do! (kinda) I was coloring Jack, and, obviously, I used the same color I used for his paws. But when I colored it, THE FACE WAS DARKER. HUH???? I showed this to my sister, and she was confused too. While I'm not certain why, it's probs because I colored the belly a lighter color, and the pumpkin Jack sits in makes the paws look light. -While looking at the other entries, I saw an almost masculine Hats. Huh? I thought Hats was a girl! The purples, witch-llike design, and now I see a male Hats? I guess there are many different ways to intrepret these kinds of characters. I also gave Hats a cape. While doing the details, I also realised how much my art style is based of of @9rainbowtails'. She was a big influence in my art style, and since she was the only one I would see drawing cats.... Boo and Latte are in the Bichi Mao art style. I found a tutorial book on drawing kawaii cats, so that's how I learned! It looks better on traditional, but oh well. Oh, and I changed up somethings to do Latte. I wonder who made that cat so aloof..... The coffee splatter is from Google.
