✦ 3 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT VISIT JAPAN IN THE SUMMER ✦ { ❀DISCLAIMER❀ } Everything I say is my opinion of Japan in the summer! You might think it is a great time to visit Japan (probably because school is out for America), but for me...not some much, people. Clicking that ⭐+ ❤️will be awesome and I would really appreciate it!! (Arigato everyone for the people who did! :D ) ✃ — — — — ✦ CaPtIoNs ✦ Ahhh...Japan. A well-visited country for vacation that's known for its seasonal cherry blossoms, their traditional tea/matcha ceremonies, the beautiful, cultural clothing style of kimonos, and you cannot forget their gardens of scenery and beauty! Now, I'm sure you guys are wondering and asking like, "Then, why did you make a project about why we shouldn't visit Japan, Addie?" Nuh uh. Add "In the Summer". Those two are totally different scenarios, people! Anyways, before I get started, please love and like to this project and I would appreciate if you follow me to! Okay. Okay. Reason #1: TOO HUMID AND HOT! Guys. Let me tell you the average temperature in Japan. When I visited Osaka last summer, I checked my phone around noon on my walk to a cafe, and saw that it was 115°F (46°C)! Don't go search on Google or Safari and believe what the search says. Earth has global warming, remember?! I also suggest that you shouldn't take walks between noon and 4PM! I REPEAT! DO NOT TAKE WALKS BETWEEN 12-4PM! The sweat is sooo sticky too, so I suggest that you bring several shirts IF YOU WANNA GO FOR A WALK. Reason #2: IT'S EXPENSIVE! Average metro tickets cost only about 180 to 330 yen, ($1.18-$3.00 USD) which is sorta cheap from the Tokyo Metro, but the Toei Metro is 140 to 800 yen ($2-$8?!) for a 3 minute ride or else your ticket will start deducting to negatives I think...anyways, I was on my way to Honshu to visit the Mt. Fuji when I took the Toei Metro that one time. It wasn't as beautiful to hike because most of the snow was melted of course, but the mountain of Japan was still pretty to me! The cheapest time to visit Japan is mid-January and February because it is way cooler. My birthday is around that time too, so I visit my grandparents and cousins who are Japan as my winter-break vacation + birthday celebration! Reason #3: CROWDS! I remember going to some random festival after 9PM in the street alleys, and boy does it get crowded! I just wanted to get some souvenirs for my friends, but it took almost an entire hour to wait at the register line! Perhaps because Japan is so hot during the day, the locals come out at night to do their thing and hang out. Hope this was helpful, everyone! I still suggest you visit Japan's cities, Osaka & Kyoto! Their castles, gardens, and temples are beautiful!
