Manipulators (After final battle with The Keeper of the Word [WARNING: SPOILERS]) Personality: Robotic, pacifist, and analytical (Pre-Vertex Incident); more human-like and emotional after the Vertex Incident. Era: Late Classic STATS: Physical Attack: Low Energy Attack: Medium Power: High Defense: High Mobility: Low Jump Strength: Medium-High Intellect: Insane (pun intended) BACTKSTORY: The year is 20XX. The Double Gear battle is long over, and activity has been relatively low. A hope for everlasting peace finally seems plausible. However... Not long after these events, 19 year old British Professor Marie Brighton discovered a remarkable find in an archeological dig; A hundred and 40 year old manuscript of special program. After running some tests, the program seemed to be the theoretical architecture for an extremely developed artificial intelligence. A robotologist herself, Brighton set out to use this program. For a few months, she developed a complex program combining the engine she found with Doctor Thomas Light's Independent Thought Research, as well as a new technology, the SIR program (S.I.R. being Self Improving Robotics). She then purchased the parts to build a standard issue Robot Master off of Mega Man's design. Finally, she built a rudimentary armor out of thin metal plates and a simple weapon named the Bit Shot, incapable of even hurting a human. When Brighton turned on the robot, it was apparent that it was much more intelligent than most other Robot Masters, and constantly worked to improve itself in every way do to the ancient Engine programming. For several more months, Brighton and PBN-003 (Nicknamed 3 by the professor) worked in an American laboratory, testing 3's capabilities and improving his design. 3 rapidly became stronger in all of his abilities, just as the professor had hoped. However, as he grew stronger, Brighton started to worry. She feared that PBN-003's lack of limitations could realistically lead to destruction, and could be used for evil in the wrong hands. So one day, she set out reprogramming 3 with power limitations as well as moral guidelines such as not ending human life. But just then... *Pew pew!* *Sound effects!* *Charge shot!* *Bwing!* Oh no! Mega Man and Wily were fighting again! And this time were right outside the professor's doorstep! Panic stricken, Brighton rushed 3's reprogramming, only affecting the moral programming. But before she could finish... POW! Both Wily and Mega were inside her laboratory! "This is the last time I have with YOU, Mega Man!" "Give it up, Wily! You'll never win!" "Says you! For now I have the ultimate plan to finally defeat you! I- Huh?" Suddenly they both noticed the professor and the prematurely rebooted robot in the middle of the room. "Now what do we have he-" Suddenly, a flash of light blinds the two enemies. In an instant, the Professor and robot had disappeared. 3 had, in fact, blasted through the roof. Brighton had been saved from capture by her creation. Stunned, she just stared at him for a few seconds. But before she could recover and thank him, PBN-003 jumped off of the building and ran away, without another word spoken... The professor then told Mega Man what had happened once Wily left. She then was taken to Dr. Light's Laboratory, and the two made a search for the Rouge Robot. But that was five months ago... Since then, strange things have been happening. Several Robot Masters have gone missing, robot attacks have become rarer, yet severer, and two months ago, both Dr. Light and Dr. Wily went missing. Mega Mega went out to find them immediately, but found nothing. And even he went missing last month. I'm really uncertain as to what's going on, here. Many of us are worried what will happen next. Well, at least there haven't been as many attacks... Wait... Do you see... Smoke over that town? Chapter one END OTHER INFORMATION: PBN-003 is programmed with a special code called the SIR-Engine Complex, in addition with his Independent Thought programming by Dr. Thomas Light. You might have been wondering what the Vertex Incident is. Simply stated, it is the codename for an experiment that lead to a permanent change in both the scientific and robotic worlds, although it has long been forgotten in history. Even X and Zero wouldn't exist without this rather solemn event. Unlike most of his counterparts, Giga's mainly battery powered, being a purely experimental model. However, sometime in his story, he invents a special Fusion power core, which allows for a powerful, iconic new tool...
