Ember looked away and said “Maybe”. “Well sorry if I made you think that, but now I got to leave” he said. “B-But how do you know that you are a loner?” Ember said running after him. “Well it just feels right” he said. “W-well I-I can be useful.” She said keeping pace with him, she was clearly desperate, but why? He thought. “I don’t need help.” Neptune said walking faster. “Fine just leave then” Ember said walking back to the fire. Neptune kept walking until he heard someone say “OW!”. He turned around to find Ember holding a paw in the air, licking it. V Countinued Below V
“Did you just…. Burn yourself?” He asked. “Maybe” she said putting her paw on the floor. Neptune slapped his face and whispered to himself “She’s not going to survive here alone without me, is she” *sigh* “ok fine you join me, but this isn’t promenment ok, it’s just until we can find someone else to dump you on. Deal?” He said “Deal!” Ember said smiling and running towards him.
