Instructions

Enter a number and it will identify if the number is an Abundant, Perfect or Deficient Number. Abundant Numbers are numbers where the factors, excluding the number, add up to a number greater than the original number. e.g. 12's factors are 1, 12 (Remember do not add the original number.) 2, 6 3, 4 Sum = 16, 16 > 12 Perfect Numbers are numbers where the factors, excluding the number, add to the original number. e.g. 6's factors are 1, 6 (Remember do not add the original number.) 2, 3 Sum = 6, 6 = 6 Deficient Numbers are numbers where the factors, excluding the number, add to a number less than the original number.Prime Numbers are Deficient Numbers.
