She has been hitchhiking over the last few days to get from London to the sleepy town of longfeilds. I say town, it it really should have been a city, except it is surrounded by a protected forest, which means that it cannot expand. The doodled-on travel pamphlet had said that it was full of crummy, cheap 2-star hotels, which would be perfect for her. Thalia: yessss!!! After…6 long days, I finally made it! (She walks down a road, covered in litter) Thalia: darn it, it’s raining! Sam: We should probably explain… Melody: I’m on it! I’m melody, that’s my twin brother, Sam, the old guy is Nathan, and the 13-year-old adult is Lara! And we are oddities! Thalia: what’s an oddity? Nathan: I- Melody: Let me explain. Melody: basically, a really long time ago, there was a vampire who craved the blood of other vampires. Eventually they drank human blood, but that turned the human into, not a vampire, but into an oddity, like human but with a superpower. And, that vampire was the first oddity vampire. The end! Thalia: VAMPIRES! this is all a bunch of codswallop! Your ‘avin a laugh! Im leaving you nutjobs! Nathan: we’ll see… Thalia: AAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!! Thalia: I’m a ghost!
