"You were never our mother and you'll never be." Ayla and Skye were siblings, they lived with their caretaker after their parents died. Many of the village people have claimed that the monsters got them while they were out for their morning walk. Now no one goes out in the morning. Not a soul. Now Ayla hated their caretaker for many reasons. 1.) She took all the food 2.) She took the only bedroom that was in the house, and didn't share 3.) She'd always go out with friends 4.) She sold them to the lab owner. That's right, not only did this woman that was trusted by the village to take care of two children that needed it not care for them, she sold them to one of the worst places to be. The lab. Now Ayla and Skye wouldn't remember their names after all the Anastasia and trauma that they would get would wipe away most memories. But somehow through it all they remained brother and sister, up until their third year. Skye had forgotten about Ayla in another experiment in which they were testing the brain. And this made Ayla cry herself to sleep almost every night. When Ayla ran away she swapped out the bracelets that she and Skye wore when they were still human, in hopes that one day they would reunite and remember all the fun they had together as siblings. Ayla never referred to Skye as experiment 33, even if that meant punishment. She would never let her brother down, even if that started with just saying his name.
