When the project starts, wait a few seconds as it calculates a terrain. Re-click the green flag to make a new terrain using the set parameters at the bottom of the screen. Make sure to use Turbo Mode (Shift+click green flag) VARIABLE DEFINITIONS: (scroll down) Length = how long across Width = how far down (slant makes it look longer) Height = the highest point the terrain can go Water Level = the highest point terrain can be water Snow Level = the lowest point terrain can be snow Steepness = how quickly the slope of the terrain changes in its orientation Trees? = want trees to go with that land? :) Brightness = average brightness of the terrain Waves? = 0 is flat water, 1 is water that looks "wavy" Smooth Terrain = smooths out the final terrain, eliminated jagged spots, but does take time to do this
Oddly enough, this was working a lot better before, which it had smoother terrain and less ridges than this version. The reason it has those ridges is because of a variable that can fluctuate and cause steep slopes.
