This represents time and how it is a loop of life and death. -The sound played when the snake is conceptualized is a slowed down version of a sound that can be heard from the Mirror Ability in Kirby Super Star. -The idea of the bomb exploding and turning the area into a whole other dimension is an unintentional reference to Subspace Emissary, which is Super Smash Bros. Brawl's story mode. -I had initially wanted just Jk and Ex. However, ?? is capable of lapsing people from universe to universe canonically. I had wanted to add less Exverse representation, but it also felt wrong not having Ex for some reason. I have no idea why, because at this point, Oscar is the new favorite child.
