The Metrocenter Mall, in Jackson, Mississippi, is a two-story shopping mall that opened on March 1, 1978 with 3 anchor stores, McRaes, Gayfers, and Sears. A D.H. Holmes was added as a fourth anchor in 1979. In 1999 the Dillards that had replaced D.H. Holmes closed, which was the beginning of the falling of the mall. The main area of the mall closed in 2018, but the Burlington was still open. It closed on February 9th 2022 (my 11th bday lol), making the mall completely abandoned.
