How would you quickly describe the storyline? -------- missing nowheres. homeless orphan decides to help an old man cross the street, somehow defeats a cult and gets a boyfriend (?) in the process 2: What inspired your story? -------- uh various fantasy stories like the amulet graphic novel series, the renegade by @itsxpert 3: Does it take place on Earth or in a made up land? In what time? -------- It takes place on a theoretical made up land, I sort of have it mapped out but I have yet to name it. most of the comic takes place in the twilight of the era of monarchical deconstruction in the story. yay for fictional politics 4: What’s a favorite place in your story and the events that happen there? -------- Ohhh DEFINITELY the west coastline. I won't spoil it but it's so plot relevant and aaaa screaming cryign 5: Who is your protagonist? What is their mission? -------- riptide. His mission for the story is to get great grandpappy gill back to the afterlife so he can get on with healing from some traumatic incidents 6: Who is the most underrated character in your story and why? -------- I don't talk about wildfire enough </3 she deserves to be the main character she's the best 7: What two characters have the most interesting relationship (good or bad)? -------- Oohhhhhhh gilpermint DEFINITELY. they make me ill (gill and peppermint) 8: What are the conflicts of the story? Do you have villains? -------- there are a lot of conflicts namely the characters' conflicts with each other and the outside conflict of. the cult and yes there are villains!! namely the cult leader peppermint (<333) 9: Which character is the most misunderstood? -------- Gill I think. he comes off as angry and bitter but he's just been through some stuff either him or peppermint you gotta understand me on this one SHE'S JUST MISUNDERSTOOD 10: Is there a character the most like you (or even based off you)? What qualities do you share? -------- twilight is literally me. literally an extension of my fursona 11: Is there an animal sidekick? -------- pebble probably adopts a bird. 12: Who or what acts as the comedic relief? -------- I try to make most everything silly and light except for when it's not riptide is the comedic relief. he's that good 13: What is the underlying message or moral of the story? -------- DO live in the present moment, appreciate what's around you. How does it change things? -------- gill is dead and is like that for the whole story (kind of the point of his existence) but killing characters off in the main story?? that would be hard on me ngl so probably not indigo probably dies in act 3 finale tbh. Who would you not get along with? -------- pebble would be my best buddy ever. they would have to teach me sign language though and tbh I'm a little stupid so idk how easy that would be UHmm,,,,mmmm that's hard. idk none of them. having friends is hard 23: If any, what weapons are used? -------- Cool fantasy weapons exist, ehm Pebble has a dual wield sword thing xe're just that cool I might give Riptide a spear I feel like that would suit him (gives all my children spears and machetes and reality-altering technology and lets them run around with them for the fun of it. i love having children) Does magic count as a weapon?????? cont 24: How does your story differ now from when you first started making it? -------- SO MUCH lmao the ogs know about the history of Missing Nowheres I started the comic in early 2023??? as a sketch comic to go along with another (discontinued and forgotten) comic I was making. Yea I ended up falling in love with the story and it's still very dear to me (no matter how frustrated the lore makes me <333) It was very inspired by @ItsXpert's comic The Renegade and still is lol. 25: What’s something interesting about your story that wasn’t asked about here? -------- uhhhhhh gay people. idk bye
