1: What story will you be using to answer these questions? How would you quickly describe the storyline? The Runes, and the story is basically a group of people find another group of people to fight a different group of people who is being controlled by a god 2: What inspired your story? Sci-fi, Japan, fairytales, some personal things, @CapitanFluffy’s story sorta, mental health 3: Does it take place on Earth or in a made up land? In what time? It takes place on a modified Earth, ~2045. 4: What’s a favorite place in your story and the events that happen there? A single house at the edge of a forest, which is where the protagonists reside. 5: Who is your protagonist? What is their mission? There are multiple protagonists, but Eve is the main. Her mission is to find 4 Runes to kill the Darkness while also getting therapy for her clinical depression. 6: Who is the most underrated character in your story and why? It’s either gotta be Quince or Upsilon. Quince is because he’s just a child and no one likes a child in their darker stories, and for Upsilon, lore reasons. 7: What two characters have the most interesting relationship (good or bad)? Defen and Matrix. It’s a very gay ship [name is Defix], and it kind of partially started The Runes… 8: What are the conflicts of the story? Do you have villains? There are too many conflicts, but the main one is the protagonists vs. the Darkness. And there are villains. 9: Which character is the most misunderstood? Either all of the villains or Upsilon. 10: Is there a character the most like you (or even based off you)? What qualities do you share? Eve and Lyn are both based off “halves” of me and used to be my sonas. Eve is based on a more melancholic side of me, while Lyn shows a more child-like state. Eve used to be my self-insert/truesona before switching to Kykii 11: Is there an animal sidekick? …No? Yeah no there isn’t, unless you count anthro animals who behave like humans 12: Who or what acts as the comedic relief? Defen. [Villain only] Also some random bits that Kykii has 13: What is the underlying message or moral of the story? there’s TOO MANY. …Uhh, mainly “Don’t let other things get you down!” and “Be brave, even if you can’t.” 14: What are some symbols or hidden meanings you have placed? I haven’t released the story yet, but there will be Japanese, Spanish, morse and binary code, Greek, and other hidden things in there :D 15: What genre would you consider your story? Fantasy/Sci-fi 16: What type of media is your story (book, animation, movie, play, etc)? Animated series 17: What’s a song that matches an event or character in your story? Character: Defen, My Type by Saint Motel [if you saw his personality you would get it people are likely to simp over him] 18: Is it a cast of people, animals, or both? Both [counting anthros and humanoids] 19: What’s something funny or ridiculous that happens? Upsilon plays a fart sfx throughout one of the episodes. Maybe. Not sure yet, The Runes is still in development. 20: What’s the biggest obstacle your protagonist must overcome? Depression. 21: Does anyone die? How does it change things? There’s someone who’s dead before the story starts, and that semi-caused Eve’s depression. 22: Which character would you choose to be your friend? Who would you not get along with? I’d choose Eve or Lyn. I’m not taking Upsilon, that’s for sure. 23: If any, what weapons are used? Sword, wand, daggers, kunai, bombs, pocket knives, katanas, shurikens, there’s a lot. 24: How does your story differ now from when you first started making it? When I first made it, Defen and Matrix’s relationship was only friends [sad], Upsilon was annoying because he could be and not because of any events, Quince’s design was different, and I think there was some other stuff I can’t remember 25: What’s something interesting about your story that wasn’t asked about here? The place where The Runes takes place on is also where another one of my stories, The Dented Sky, takes place! [ . . . ] I love love LOVED these questions!!!
