Shattered Maiden was born to King Jadeflame and Queen Koiscales as Princess Bea. Her mother died giving birth to her so Thunderbird gave her milk. King Jadeflame spoiled his daughter because he saw her as his mate's final gift. When she reached 6 moons old she was given a mentor and recieved a special power. When members of the royal family reach 6 moons old they are given a special power. Princess Bea's power is super strength, Queen Koiscales and King Jadeflame's powers were the ability to create ice and the ability to make green flames, respectively. About 2 years later, Princess Bea decided that she wanted to be queen. So she lured her father to a grotto and drowned him. Thunderbird witnessed this but Princess Bea saw her, tore off her right wing and ate it right in front of her. Sheesh. Princess Bea came back to camp and told some sob story about why King Jadeflame wasn't coming back. She crowned herself queen and renamed herself to Queen Bea. All of LightningClan was desperate for her approval except one cat. His name was Branchslink. Queen Bea was smitten with him and made him her mate. Soon, she became pregnant with his kits. She was overjoyed. He was mortified. She gave birth to Sakura. When her daughter was 3 moons old Queen Bea noticed Shining and Dog, two particularly skilled LightningClan apprentices. Intrigued, Queen Bea approached them and made a deal. Help her kill Branchslink (because little Sakura was a daddy's girl) and make it look like an accident and in return early warriorhood. They both agreed to it. A moon later Dog challenged Branchslink to a race with a twist. The twist was that they had to hop from branch to branch in the canopy. Branchslink agreed to the race. Near the finish line Shining snapped a big branch just enough that it would break as Branchslink was landing on it. Queen Bea brought Sakura over to watch. Branchslink fell and died. Sakura was traumatized and Queen Bea was pleased. 3 years later Sakura was talking to Dogfang when he let it slip that Queen Bea was behind Branchslink's murder. Enraged, Sakura confronted her mother and fought her. Though Sakura lost she blinded Queen Bea's right eye. Queen Bea renamed herself Shattered Maiden.
