Chapter 2 I woke up suddenly. I saw three adults, maybe twenty and two children. Four of them wore green tunics while the other wore… a pirate outfit? It was also green. All of them looked like me. We all screamed and reached for weapons, but only one of them actually drew anything. The one who was armed had a Fox mask that had fallen off of his face. I recognized it as a Keaton mask, a child's toy. “Who are you.” The armed one grunted. In unison we all said, “I’m the hero of Hyrule, Link.” then all stared at each other. Well most of us said Hyrule. The pirate child said, “I’m the hero of the great sea, Link,” and one of the adults had said, “I’m the hero of the skies, Link.” “I am also the hero of hyrule, Link.” He said slowly. “Okay, so we’re all heroes… but uh how?” One of the kids asked. The adult that had said, ‘the hero of hyrule’ was studying the armed one. He paused then straightened. “I-I know you? You were the hero before me!” “Uhm what?” He asked. “The sword wields no strength unless the one who holds it had courage!” “How do you know that?” He looked very puzzled. “We are all from different times cause well, your alive!” “Wait what. I am so confused right now.” The pirate child said, “If we’re all Links, and we’re all heroes, then should we just call each other by our hero titles?” “Um yeah! Okay!” I said, “I’m Wild then.” “Time.” The armed one said and Pirate gawked, “You’re the one who made me wear green?? Now I know who to blame. I’m Wind” “I am Four. Wild pass me the bag by your feet.” The other kid said. I looked at me feet and saw a bag with something in it, “Don’t open it, Unless you want trouble.” He growled. I passed it over. “I’m Twilight.” The one who seemed to know Time said. “Sky. Now where are we…” the last one said. He trailed off as we looked around us. Tall buildings were everywhere. Horses that didn’t look alive were on paths with yellow and white strips. A loud two-legged horse zoomed past. It reminded me of the Master cycle. Someone walking by noticed Times weapons and hurried by. I ran down one of the paths trying to stay out of the way of the horses. There was a beach at the end of the road and a Sign that said, ‘Lurelin beach’. Some lady came walking up. Her entire outfit was unfamiliar and odd. “Hello! And welcome to Lurelin City!” “Lurelin city? Which continent is this!?” Wind asked. “This is Hyrule silly!” “Hyrule… Were the founders perhaps King Rarau and Queen Sonia?” I asked. “Yes! But who needs Zonai or even other Hylians to rule over us when we have the monsters!” She said. “Monsters?” I asked. I Looked over a street to what appeared to be a knight's loud horse thing. Someone had apparently did something wrong cause they were but in the horse thing. The knight turned and it was a Bokoblin. “Don’t you have a hero to protect you!?” I yelled as I rushed over to help the person. The lady yanked me back. “Hero?? How silly! There hasn’t been a hero for thousands of years! Well, The last one was a few years ago– no one knew what happened to him. He was only age two…” She sighed. “This Hyrule has no hero…” Four said softly. “So we’ll give it six!” I yelled at the top of my lungs. The Bokoblin noticed us. Then he saw Time’s sword. It yelled something and started running towards us. “Are you an idiot!?” Time yelled at me. “It’s just a baby boko. They are weak!” I said. “We don’t know this era! They could be stronger than your time.” Four called. “It’ll be fine!” I said. “You don’t even have a weapon!” Time said. “It’ll be fine!” I said stubbornly. I look at the nearest thing. It was one of those things that were like horses, and yelled, “I hope these things aren’t alive!” I stretched my arm out, and a few second later we had a flat bokoblin. The lady was nowhere in sight.
“WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT!?” Wind said, “YOU PICKED UP THAT WEIRD BOAT FROM AFAR AND SMASHED IT!” “Boat? I thought it was a weird horse.” I said. “What’s a horse?” Wind said. Everyone gawked at him. “You don’t have any horses!?” Twilight said. “Now that I think about it… horses were in my hyrule before the great flood. I’ve heard stories of them.” Wind said. “Flood?” I asked. “My Hyrule flooded. The gods wish or something something, blah, blah.” Wind said. “I’m guessing you failed history in school?” I sighed. I remembered the school me and Zelda had built. “School? My grandma taught me. But I haven’t really seen her in two years.” “Two years? Let me give you advice. I’m a hundred and twenty five, my family isn’t alive anymore. Cheris—” I got interrupted by Four, “A hundred twenty five!? How are you even alive!?” “I was asleep for a hundred of those years.” Time said nothing about my age and faced Wind, “My Parents died shortly after I was born.” “Never knew my mom, Father died when I was seven.” Sky said. “Uh I don’t know them or know what happened to my parents.” Twilight said, then considered, “I do know my great, great, great, great, great, great, probably more greats grandfather.” “Should I ask?” Time asked. “Eh. You’ll figure it out in the future.” Twilight said. “I just have a dad. Then my Shadow nearly killed him a few times.” Four said. “Okay, We’ll trade stories adventures later but I think the lady sounded an alarm.” Sky said. He was right. I saw a bunch of Bokoblins coming down one of the paths. … After we made it out of the city, I collapsed. “Find- Safe… place-.” I wheezed. “You don’t appear to have much stamina.” Sky said. “You… aren’t- tired-??” I asked. “No, not at all.” Sky said. I could tell he was lying. His legs quivered, and his face was beaded with sweat. “Midna…” Twilight mumbled. He collapsed on the ground as soon as we made it here. “Talk about no stamina.” I laughed. Time seemed a little tired and the kids were petered out. “So trade stories?” Four asked. “Sure,” I said, “I’ll start first. Firstly I fell in battle to robots, a hundred years later I woke up and the voice of my princess guided me. After I beat that evil, My princess was sent back in time. So I had to find thee sages of modern… er of my era and defeat Ganondorf. Then i found out my princess was a dragon for a thousand years. Oh and I lost my real arm and an ancient goat king replaced it with his.” They stared at me. Twi had woken up at somepoint. “Er I’ll go next,” Twi said, “Uh my girlfriend and a village child got kidnapped so I went in the direction the thing that kidnapped them went and ended up in another realm, at which point I met the twilight princess, then I had a teacher who was my ancestor, aka my great time a hundred grandfather, then I defeated the Twilight King than ganondorf possessed my princess Zelda then I defeated Ganondorf.” “I was a child in a place of people who stay kids forever. My adopted father died, giving me an emerald for the princess. I saved two tribes then I was sealed for seven years, forced to save five tribes, and ended up with four girls who wanted to marry me. After I defeated Ganondorf I was sent back to my childhood, then I ended up in termina and was forced to save that place from a lonely skull kid and a moon. And I had bunch of masks that were people I knew for ten minutes' faces.” Time said. “My sister was mistaken for a girl this bird dropped, my sister got kidnapped, I teamed up with the girl the bird dropped who was a pirate. Then I had to drag the triforce of courage up from the bottom of the ocean, then The pirate girl became a princess and I defeated ganondorf. After ganondorf me and the pirate princess set out to find a new hyrule, at which point she was kidnapped by a ghost ship, I teamed up with a greedy pirate, and had to find three spirit fairies to rescue the pirate princess.” I was an arrogant knight who was best friends with the princess then my shadow kidnapped her and my three other siblings and I had to rescue her.” “Person who lived in the sky. My best friend got pulled beneath the clouds and I had to save her. Then she found out she was the reincarnation of a goddess. Then I destroyed two demons and founded Hyrule.” “Really? I thought a Hylian women and a goat person did that.” I said. Time looked at me, confused, “Really? For me legends say two people from the sky founded Hyrule.” “Maybe it’s a different Hyrule?” Wind said. Twilight sat up, “Hey, I think I’m gonna go scouting.” “Really? Want any of us to come with you?” I asked. “Nah I’m good.” He took off. “Is there something wrong with him?” Four snickered. A few minutes later we heard sounds of struggle.
