2024/4/12 (2024/April/12th) 2'34AM (that day rex was hired) Space-next (Rex is the narrator of this story) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Its night time, I'm on guard duty tonight, this isn't the best idea not letting me get sleep. after all barley any of them know how to handle some of the larger animals. I wouldn't be too worried about it, I was just hired yesterday. *noise in the bushes* huh? what was that? -------------------NEXT SLIDE--------------- I hid behind a rock and look past one of the trees, my jaw dropped when I saw it was a poacher, he was alone, he was trying to steal a dinosaur to sell. I needed to act fast, i turned off my flash Light so he wouldn't see me. --------------------NEXT SLIDE------------ I didn't get a good look at him, he looked like he was between the age 18-25. I thought for a second that it was another park member looking out, but I remembered I was the only one sent over here. suddenly I heard the sound of him shooting something, then followed by a short squeal, he then picked up, a now dead juvenile Psittacosaurus. i was in shock, he then spoke in a weird gargoyle voice, but i was able to understand it. he was laughing. -----------------NEXT SLIDE-------- suddenly I heard, low growl, that of a large predator of this area, I knew that only one padded foot animal could have been large enough to make that sound, Taboris. I dashed back as the beast came out of the dark, the Poacher looked back and started to run, then Taboris crushed him in his mouth, throwing what was left of him into the air before catching him in its mouth, swolling him whole. he then picked up my sent, i was next. -----------------NEXT SLIDE------------------ I ran as fast as I could before sliding under the truck. it was caught in a ditch so I couldn't drive out of here. i knew t-rexes had a very good sense of smell. so i used my knife to slash the oil tank out of my truck, poring it all over me. it couldn't track my sent that way. then Taboris walked over to the last place my sent was. he walked over by the truck, the sent trail stopped. but this highly intelligent dinosaur wasn't giving up. -------------------NEXT SLIDE----------------------- Taboris then picked up the truck in its jaws. then he flipped it over, he then checked what was under the truck, he sniffed around, it was night, so it was hard to see, but all he smelled was oil. he then walked off, i got up still covered in oil, before running off and getting my phone out and texting to nick.
