Instructions for modding is in the README sprite. Basics - Play cards to defeat your enemy. - Build up block to reduce damage. It resets each turn. - Before you begin, choose a deck. - The icon above the enemy shows their intentions. - Each card costs energy. It replenishes each turn. - You can modify your deck after each fight. - Be wary of bosses, they appear every 10 rooms. Enemy Intent - Intent is a hidden stat that is chosen randomly for the enemy each turn, scaling higher further into the game. - Intent decides how much damage or block an enemy can do and does not affect debuffing. - Certain cards or relics can reduce or increase intent. Debuffs - All debuffs decrease by 1 each turn. - Poison deals half of the inflicted poison per turn. - Vulnerability makes attacks deal 33% more damage. - Burn deals 2 damage per turn when on an enemy. - On the player, burn deals 1 damage per card played. Card Properties - Cards have classes; offense, defense, and support. - Exhaust means it's removed until the end of combat. - Combust means it's removed forever. - Reusable means it stays in your hand once used. Relics - Relics grant a variety of passive effects. - Relics also have the same classes as cards.
