Petalkit was shivering. "Leaf-bare is so c-cold!" She squeaked. Windrider, her mother bristled. "Yes, Petalkit, it is." She whispered. Petalkit suddenly screeched with pain and fear. Windrider whipped around to see Deepwater, the medicine cat. But Deepwater wasn't acting like himself. There was an insanity in his eyes... one that made Petalkit shriek louder. Brindleclan's medicine cat had caught the curse.
