I’ve got a friend in Florida by the hurricane rn I’m panicking help And there’s no basements so the safest place is the shower but like how safe is that??? Would a basement be safer or less safe tho because of floods? But fl is in a semi tropical (or maybe just tropical I don’t know) area right? So don’t they have a higher chance of hurricanes or something? Why the heck would they not allow basements??? Isn’t that the safest place to be during a natural disaster? HOW SAFE IS A SHOWER EVEN WILL THEY BE OKAY?????
If anyone has any info on how dangerous it is I really wanna know I’m actually freaking out right now and I can’t find anything on the internet all the articles just say the damage a hurricane does to the landscape and it’s not giving me any info on how safe or not safe it is
