Fiona was also able to escape the nuke, and unlike Scourge, she didn't get immediately killed after. She ended up being stuck in a building that collapsed a few days after she got in. Later on, Steve finds her stuck under some ruble and debris. He helps her which lit a spark in her. Before she had a slight crush on Steve, and after he helped her and saved her from a hoard, she fully was in love with him. (Can't wait to see how Steve rejects her.)
