I keep going inactive huh? That's kinda goofy silly of me isn't it?? ... So the thing is.. I have taken a small break from scratch and.. honestly?? It really helped my mental health. I have come to.. have a sort of bitterness with this site.. (not the people on it... mostly--) the moderation is so restricting, there is hardly any way to grow as a creator, and most important to me, there is no way to block people that make me uncomfortable (which has happened way too many times sadly..) I have made the decision to half leave. I am going to only check in twice a week, post only once a week with a dump of all the arts I did in that time I was away, I probably won't respond quickly to comments because of this (no offense to anyone! I just don't want to try to be online everyday on a site that constantly stresses me out-) I am leaving a thing containing some of my other socials inside the project, so that if you have them (and want to stay in contact with this depressed loser XD) you can check those out, I am pushing myself to be more active on other sites/platforms so that at the end of 2025 when I leave I won't be left with nothing- . My main focus is the development of the WildFyres website, with my secondary focuses being Cosmic animation and webcomic stuff (and a teeny bit of script writing for a possible future indie animation??) My main desire is to get project WildFyres to a point I can open closed beta testing, and hopefully get a grouping of cool people from other platforms to be among the first to receive codes to make accounts, the goal is for this to happen by then end of next year- we'll see if my depression lets me work that fast lol- I do hope to eventually at some point be able to distribute codes to people on here before I leave, but I don't think I can this early- (if you want to be in closed beta you can ask and I can try to reserve a code for you) . I am making slow progress on project WildFyres, to be completely honest, I don't have a impressive amount done, I am the only coder and I only recently figured out that my "laziness" is actually depression, the stuff I have done is entirely front-end design work (ie. coding the shape of the log-in/sign up, the shape/style of the navigation bar, the nameplates, the follow button) I do not have any background work done (the server/system to create and store accounts and data, etc.) I wish I had more to brag about and show but sadly due to my struggles with depression the majority of the stuff I have to show is concept drawings that haven't been made functional- . It is the same deal with the animation on Cosmic, except I was doing slightly better on that, thankfully I left shading layers unmerged on it so when I got back to it recently I was able to fix the crappy shading-- I redrew a few Selena frames too, hopefully with a lil luck I can get the segment I am working on, done soon XD . If you read through all that.. congrats!! You're much more patient than I am XD If you didn't : I am dropping down to only being online twice a week and only posting once a week. I am a depressed loser so I rant about how I didn't get much done with project WildFyres and Cosmic animated. And blah blah blah, working on a Webtoon version of my Shattered Worlds comic y'know, silly stuff lol- . Welp-- See ya'll later!
