Instructions

press flag so I get read count Hiya. Exl here. It is written from The Hero of the Wild's PoV. Enjoy! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Prologue I looked over at the girl next to me. She was sitting on the ground looking for something. [Hylia forbid she makes me eat another frog] I thought as she gasped with pleasure. “Link! I found one!” “Oh boy.” “You never tasted it!” “Maybe I don’t wanna!” “Come on Link! It’s research, frog rechearch.” She poked me in the side and held the frog out to my face. “Can I at least cook it, or do something to put it out of its misery?” She laughed and let the frog go., and I gratefully sighed with relief. “Should we go back to the castle, your majesty?” I asked her. She sighed, “No, the moment we get back, I’ll be bombarded with requests and other stuff.” “Okay, Zelda.” I looked at the grassy field, stretching out for a long while. [How long is the peaceful place going to be here? How many more people will get to see this view?] I wondered. I stretched my arm out. Zelda made me a new champions tunic to help cover up my right arm, which was a Zonai arm. I haven’t used its powers since rescuing Zelda, but the burden of having an arm that wasn’t my own weighed on me. Most people still think I can’t talk, or talk well at least, which was worse. I dearly missed my friends, Urbosa, Daruk… and Mipha. I breathed in and out. I glanced at Zelda, whose eyes were on the ground, I looked for any travelers nearby but none. A few feet away there layed a rock. I drew my sword and my arm lit up as I fused the bolder to my sword. “Link!” Zelda yelled at me. “What.” I shrugged, grabbing an apple out of my travel pouch and started munching on it. “I thought we said not to use the arm unless we were in danger.” “Maybe we are in danger. Maybe there's an evil frog in the grass, trying to get to us.” I said and Zelda giggled. She smacked me, “Stop making me laugh! You’re not funny!” “Alright, Princess humor.” She toppled over in a fit of giggles. “That wasn't even funny! Alright, slightly funny.” She hugged me, and I was slightly surprised by this but hugged back anyways. “I guess… I’m ready to go.” Zelda sighed. “Are you sure? Cause I’m not ready.” I said. “Maybe… we could stay in the sun for a bit longer.” “Fine by me.” We layed in the sun and laughed, and laughed, and laughed, but there was a feeling in the back of my throat. The same feeling that came over me when I first found the master sword, the same feeling that came over me when I became a knight, the same feeling I had when people started getting sick of the gloom. Something is about to happen, but I’m not going to let Zelda get hurt.
