Penelope,Jacky,Bella and Ginny and Jenny saw a big giant looming towards. Penelope was relieved to see it was just Hagrid. Hagrid simply beamed and Penelope,Jacky, Isabella and Ginny. "Hello girl! How are yeh?" "Fine thanks," Penelope and Ginny replied at the same time. "Who this with yeh?" Hagrid asked. "Oh this is Christabell Jenny Andrea," Penelope and Ginny said at the same time. They looked at each other in a bit of embarrasement. Hagrid,Jenny and Jacky and Bella just chuckled as he called out for first years. Penelope is AMAZED to see so many people. At her last school there was just 30 students in a class. Everyone was silent on the boat journey. When they reached Hogwarts, Penelope saw a stern woman standing there. Penelope knew who she was of course. Hermione told her. She was Professor Mcgonagall Head of Gryffindor.Professor Mcgonagall lead everyone to the hall. Penelope saw Hermione in the Gryffindor table. She waved at Hermione and Hermione waved back. She crossed her fingers. Please let me get Gryffindor or Ravenclaw please. Penelope thought hard. The sorting seremony began. Jacky and Bella squeezed Penelope's hand. Penelope felt grateful because she needed two of her sisters with her. "Evan Gates!" "HUFFLEPUFF!" Penelope was taken aback. She didn't know that hat can shout so loud! She nearly bumped into a boy with a camera. 'He's kinda cute' Penelope thought but pushed the thought away. "Arial Black!" "SLYTHERIN!" Cheers from Slytherin. "Jake Mcsheffrey!" "SLYTHERIN!" Cheers from Slytherin. "Harmony Brigette!" "HUFFLEPUFF!" Cheers from Hufflepuff It was Jenny's turn. "Christabell Andrea!" "RAVENCLAW!" Cheers erupted from Ravenclaw as Jenny joyfully walked over to Ravenclaw's table. Penelope felt elated for her friend. "Cherryl Lynn!" "Gryffindor!" Screams from Gryffindor. "Ginny Weasley!" "Good luck!" Penelope whispered to a white faced Ginny. "GRYFFINDOR!" "YES! GO GINNY!" Penelope heard Fred,George and Percy shout. There was no Ron or Harry. "Penelope Granger!" Penelope felt queasy. What if she is not in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. Penelope wanted to burst into tears of fright. She walked to the stool feeling jelly-ish. Professor Mcgonagall placed the hat. 'Hmmmm,' Penelope jumped.'Ah no need to feel scared I can talk ya know.I can read minds but your characteristics tell me you deserve all house. But that's not possible of course.'Please Gryffindor! Please Gryffindor! Penelope thought.' Ok you can be "GRYFFINDOR!" Penelope jumped for the 3rd time. She saw everyone on Gryffindor. Hermione was jumping about. Penelope sat next to Ginny. Then she saw Harry and Ron. Or she thought but nevermind! She saw the cute guy's name being called. "Colin Creevey!" "GRYFFINDOR" screamed the Hat. Finally it was Jacky's turn. The Hat took a long time deciding her house until it decided on "HUFFLEPUFF!" Penelope felt a bit disapointed. If Jacky was in Gryffindor then they would be together. She was also sad about Jenny. But at least she had Ginny. Then it was Bella's turn ISABELLA GRANGER! GRYFFINDOR! Penelope was happy that Bella waas in Gryffindor but she also needed Jacky. The sorting ended. Albus Dumbledore said a few words and then the feast came. Penelope just ate some mashed potato with gravy. And for dessert ice-cream. She was elated. She met the prefect Percy. Percy was kind and leaded the first years to the dormitory. Penelope felt to sleepy to admire the dormitory. She collapsed in a bed and slept.
