(Read everything below slowly and carefully, or you may miss lore.) (This project is not meant to break the Guidelines, it's just a Lore and my own interpretation of Boyfriend and Girlfriend's backstories made for the Ultraverse) LORE: Clarissa "Cherry" Davis Peterson (born January 28, 1976) and Keithson "Keith" Williams (born 1975) were two performers who were both famous for forming a successful music duet, with Keithson as the singer and Clarissa as the DJ. In 1984, they met at school and grew a bond with each other, eventually dating in a romantic relationship in 1988. The two were known for having a huge taste in music and they decided to compose music together and in 1993, they officially started their career as a successful band. Over the course of two years, the duo produced three studio album with fifteen songs in total. On June 14, 1995, a live concert was organized for the duo to perform. Everything was doing so well, but two figures(later reincarnated as Mommy Mearest and Daddy Dearest) within the audience took out their weapons and started a shooting all over the concert, killing both Keithson and Clarissa in the chaos. Amongst the audience, Nightmare and Caetana witnessed the tragedy and ran away, despite getting hit by one of the shooters on the way. Fortunately, the two shooters were executed in 1996 despite showing signs of remorse. As for Keithson and Clarissa, they would remain dead until 2020, where they are reincarnated as avatars(Boyfriend and Girlfriend) in a strange realm, the Friday Night Funkin' universe. There, two figures were waiting for them, Mommy Mearest and Daddy Dearest, who adopted Girlfriend and turned her into the demon we know today. It wouldn't take long for Girlfriend to realize that the duo were the reincarnations of the two shooters back in 1995. And so, Boyfriend went on to do rap battles to get Girlfriend back and the two went on adventures till this day.
