Howdy and hello! Welcome to my first entry to Sound Clash! For "A Blast to the Past", I chose to make an all-original song for my character, Giga Man. It involves the NES, Sega Genesis, Mega Man 7 and Mega Man X2 soundfonts. To switch between soundfonts, press the Space bar or tap for next song. (The last one's the best.) Now for the questions: How is this Retro? Well, this character is based off of the Mega Man games, not to mention his art and the soundfonts I used were purposefully intended to sound authentic. Really, there's no question here. How is this Modern? Giga Man might be designed to look like the retro style, but he's all new! The soundfonts were designed to sound old, but the melody and beat you hear was created to be catchy, sound like a captivating superhero, and also inspired largely to modern Christian, such as you would hear on K-Love (Albeit a little more driving). That's because (SPOILER ALERT) Giga becomes a Keeper of the Word. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me!
