hiiiiiiiiii uhm I don't expect to win I just entered for funsies!!! info: Name: Kai Gender: None :3 Age: ??? BACKSTORY: Prehistoric times, back before dinosaurs roamed. Kai was just a cub, and their antennae only started blossoming. They remember it like it was engraved into their mind. The only memory of their past life. If they could classify this as the “present” life. Other creatures roamed about the drinking hole, where the local herds of animals drank water. Their herd lived closest, since they were water animals. It was late at night, and they couldn’t fall asleep to their mothers warmth. They yawned, stretching and slowly exiting the bed. The stars sparkled as always, a beautiful sight casting on the land. And a dazzling reflection gleamed onto the drinking hole. Kai couldn’t help but feel like something was off, out of the ordinary, even. But their throat was as dry as the land during its hottest, so they took a sip of the water. Instantly, a wave of air washed over them… and they were suddenly in the sky. “WH-” Kai gasped, a wave of panic washing them. They floated across stars and stars, twisting with fear. “Do not worry, child.” A glorious, holy voice called out to them. Kai twisted and turned, attempting to spot the voice, but nobody stood before them. “You can’t see me right now, child. That’s okay.” The voice reassured. The voice made Kai feel at peace. “Who… who are you…?” Kai called out, their stubby legs paddling them around. “Don’t worry about that right now…” The voice answered smoothly. Kai could have sworn someone just brushed behind their ears. “Your not safe here. You have been chosen, my dear.” “What… what do you mean?” Kai murmured. “The world will be doomed. It can’t be saved.” Kai felt something lift them. A portal warped. Tears prickled at their eyes. “WH- Wait…! What’s happening??” “Shhh… you’ll understand once the prophecy is fulfilled.” Kai was sobbing… they looked so stupid. “What do you mean ‘Prophecy’? Let me go home!!” “Stop crying… they’ll be permanent.” But Kai couldn't help but continue. The voice sighed and tossed them into the portal. Where were they? This place was so strange… They attempted to wipe their tears, yet they stayed. …of course that invisible woman was serious. But they still had a lot to explore. Unknown to them, they would grow. But time was never changing. They could only transport from future to past, never finding their grip on reality. Poor Kai.
