Instructions

Scientific name: Zontanos Kipos Alias: Kip Niche: Ambush predator Evolved from: Caroficedula ferox Description: The Kip is an ambush predator that sumerges itself in sand and waits for prey to touch its whiskers. Though the species has formed a symbiotic relationship with a speices of flora, the Clingamorph. It has devopled soft tissue above its jaws to compensate for the flora, letting it grow and attract herbivores with the plant's high protein. Scientific name: dynatos perimeno Alias: Clingomorph Niche: Oxygenator Evolved from: Forgotamorph (forgashalas balejin) Description: The Clingomorph while rather harmful to most creatures, the Kip has developed a method of using the plant to its advantage. As the softest part and easest to access tissue is blocked off from any of the Kip's important organs. The Clingomorph has more than one way of gathering food, the main source being from the creature it consumes the nutrients. While it also devopled filtering leaves to receive extra nutrience. An added bonus is the left overs of a Kip's meal, only adding to its ways of receiving energy. Life-cycle: Once the host of the Clingomporh dies it will grow to 10-20 cm tall and begin creating seeds that will drift through out the water till it finds a suitable host. Kips notably die after laying eggs in the hopes that the offspring will hatch near the plants and receive the seeds as a better chance of survival.
