Volume 4 cast references —— Characters will change over the course of the story, but here are the references for volume 4. —— Moons are the age of the characters when they died, since cats don’t age in Starclan. The character’s current name is shown, the clan(s) they identify with, their role (such as “kit”, healer, “warrior”, or “leader”), the pronouns they use, and their sexuality. Everything stated is what the characters would answer if you asked them. For instance, if a cat was kicked out of Skyclan, but they still felt like they were apart of Skyclan, then they would likely have “Skyclan” on their ref, even if they aren’t technically in Skyclan. This goes for pronouns and sexuality as well. The characters themselves may not know right now, or their answer could change over time as they come to understand themselves more. A character could also be hiding something if they wanted to. For example, if a character knew they were gay, but weren’t out yet and wouldn’t want to tell an interview that, then they likely would answer “straight”, which is what would appear on their refs. This is mostly to help avoid spoilers. Hopefully that makes sense :’) —— Characters have eyelashes regardless of gender.
SO! BEHOLD! AN ACTUAL THEORY! So ya see this first slide right? Hazepelt and Goldencloud. well LOOK AT WHAT I CIRCLED. Both of them have "73" listed as their age. "Oh, but of course they do, they're littermates!" WRONG. "Moons are the age of the characters when they died, since cats don’t age in Starclan." GOLDENCLOUD AND HAZEPELT DIED AT THE SAME TIME. Now originally I was all, "well maybe they had a fight and got distracted on a thunderpath somehow." But then I remembered that Goldencloud said his sister was nice to him when they first got to StarClan but then drifted away. This would not be the case if he had been partly responsible for her death. ...So what if someone murdered them? (Gonna cut off here and leave ya wondering.)
