Click/space to see what he looked like before this. I need help with my goldfish, Wilbur. When I first got him and for a few months afterwards he was like half orange/red and half white. But for some reason, in the past few weeks, he’s turned almost completely white. When I first saw it I put methylene blue (fish medicine) on it but that didn’t do anything so I don’t think it’s any kind of infection or parasite. None of the other fish (Misty, a black moor and Pebble, a calico ranchu) are turning white so I’m not sure what’s going on. I tried doing more water changes, giving them more sunlight, but nothing is changing him back normal. Does anyone have any ideas? And btw, his personality/temperament hasn’t changed at all either, so he isn’t acting sick. Most goldfish I see that turn white-ish just turn like a pale gold, but he is turning completely white. And no, I haven’t seen them fighting each other at all so I don’t think it’s that, he’s the most dominant to be honest.
