THE GRAND FESTIVAL WAS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! It was seriously one of, if not the coolest gaming events I’ve ever been apart of! I took the opportunity to take some photos so thought I’d share them! Trying not to get too wishy-washy here, but I wanted to give a sincere thank you to Splatoon 3 and the awesome community I’ve been able to be a part of! (that’s including you, the person reading this!) The February 2021 direct was the first direct I ever watched live. How lucky was I? And the look on my face when that inkling removed the dust mask, and it was actually real. This games announcement was what really made me make some of my early projects on here. That was 3 and a half years ago! I remember playing this game for the first time, the Splatfest premiere. I had just gotten off of some work, and sat down a little late, like 2 hrs after it started. I played the final 10 hours straight, right up to midnight. This is still one of the only games I have ever bought day one, and it was dang worth every cent. Nearly 500 hours of play, 2 incredible story modes, 8 seasons of new content, and only 3 splatfest wins ( :( ) later, and it doesn’t feel real that it is already over, but it couldn’t have ended in a better fashion than how Nintendo sent this game and this franchise (for now) off. Here’s to the future of my favorite gaming franchise, or should I say to the past! (Btw huge congrats team past! Should this have a bearing on the next game, it could lead to something pretty interesting.) All logos, music, characters, literally everything belongs to Nintendo
