((GUYS THE WEBSITE IS DOWN RN)) Hello everyone!! I would just like to bring a bit of attention to a website one of my friends (and his neighbor) made that I think may be very helpful to some people. They made a website called AATA (I will put a link in the notes and credits) which stands for Abvse, Add!ct!on, & Travma Awareness. Though the website is out, the official release date is October 1st. This is a website where you can anonymously share your story relating to any of these topics whether it pertains to your struggle or overcoming, it will not be judged. You may also read other's stories and relate to them and simply realize you aren't alone or just read them to become a bit more aware of how others may struggle or how common this is. It is a judgement free zone where anyone can share without having to worry about someone recognizing them. I thought this was a wonderful idea and thought I'd share it with you guys. If you or someone you know are struggling or have overcome one of these things, feel free to share and try getting something off your chest. Who knows, you may even feel a bit better. Feel free to remix or recommend this to anyone you think it may help. Thank you all for reading, and stay safe, - Sunset
PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING!! Link: https://((DELETE))aata-journeys2.odoo.com/ If you don't trust the link (I get you boo) Google AATA Journeys, should be the first result. I believe that they are also creating an insta and GoFundMe for this cause to try to spread more awareness (Don't quote me on this but I think the GoFundMe is donating to organizations to help the people who are struggling with any of these things I will update this when I know for sure.) !! NOTE: !! Please do not post anything as a joke. It is very insensitive to both the people who made the website and those who are looking for a safe space to share their story. I really don't want to check the posts to find something like "I experienced abvse when I asked my mama for a cookie and she said "no diabeto roll back to kitchen.' (TwT)" That's really not funny to anyone but yourself. It's also incredibly rude so just don't do it. I feel like that goes without saying, but you'd be surprised. If you are worried that someone may mistake your genuine post for a joke, please don't be. People will only not take you seriously if you don't take yourself seriously. If you're still unsure please either sleep on it or get a second opinion. I'm sure that a close friend or commenters on another anonymous website will be able to soothe any doubts you may have. It even states on the website that no trauma is too big or too small, but as long as it's true, you are more than welcome to share. <33
