{ MAYBE MAN ~ OPEN MAP } ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ~ This was written by @ivystar_scamander hello! welcome to another map, lol. i got this idea like, a day ago?? but who cares I can do whatever i want. the theme for this map is literally do anything, make it angsty, and experiment. the 3 word key: ANYTHING, ANGSTY and EXPERIMENT. what i mean is, you can use ocs or any other kind of character, make them sad and having a breakdown (/j) and experiment with different kind of materials. ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ~ RULES ~ no guilt-tripping ~ don’t remix until i accept you ~ if i don’t reply it’s a polite no ~ it’s preferred to have animators who are experienced, but don’t be afraid to try and join. ~ don’t put too much gore, we don’t want to get sued ~ no forever loop or animating in the background ~ clones are fine if you delete them ~ only use someone’s else oc with permission ~ every part has to have some kind of experiment ~ no ai, traced, gatchas, picrews or anything like that. it has to be done by you ~ using pictures from irl, google and etc is allowed (to a limit, no photos of yourself, other people, places that could easily get recognized or inappropriate images) ~ every 2 weeks you have to show a wip, if after the deadline you don’t show a wip you’ll be dropped. as we will have many different mediums you have at least 3 months, and you can ask for only 2 extensions. ~ follow the pallete and theme please, codeword is in the backdrop ~ 1-3 parts per participant ~ collabs aren’t allowed except if you know the person through disco or irl ~ any kind of animation is allowed, tweening, pmv, amv, stop motion, etc. ~ don’t put just 1 frame in your part please ~ try to match your part with the lyrics ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ~FORM you have to fill this out to join un-invited Username || part # || animation and art examples || codeword || mediums you usually use (please be honest) || mediums you will use || other/questions invited Username || part # || codeword || mediums you will use || other/questions you also need to fill this out if doing a backup no need to ask for doing a thumbnail ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ~EXPERIMENT EXAMPLES so, you can literally use anything, oil paints, watercolors, ms paint, scratch, claymation, stop motion, flipbook, paper animation, markers, color pencils, digital art, puppets, blender, pastels, literally anything! the only condition is that try something new, if you always do your animations in scratch, try something else! if you stay in your comfort zone for this map, your part won’t be in the finished map, sorry, i want you to experiment and try something new. don’t be scared! who knows, maybe at the end you will enjoy that medium more than you expected. if you’re using a traditional form, try to mimic the colors of the photo as best as you can. i know it won’t be perfect, but that’s what will be fun of this map: it won’t be perfect.
