(Click for process) 1: pose, This is my first time actually doing a post sketch beforehand and it worked amazing! 2: base sketch, I normally draw this and then, on another layer, draw all the accessories/fluff/ears 3: sketch, this is what I described above. 4: lineart, I couldn’t figure out what the shirt said :’) 5: fixed lineart + heavy shading, I really like it so far! 6: base colours, WHY DID THIS TAKE SO LONG. Oh and I added the other horn 7: resizing, I realised there was a lot of negative space so I GOT RID OF IT. Oop the lineart looks really pixilated now- 8: shading, it looks nice at this point. Idk why scratch made it pixelated if you look in the costumes of the sprite it isn’t. 9: highlights, it gets better soon I promise. 10: background, I PROMISE IT GETS BETTER Q-Q 11: border, IT FINALLY GOT BETTER HOORAYYYYY 12: an extra layer of black (opacity down) to separate laggy from the background :D 13: finishing touches! This turned out great, hope you like it! (Ignore my big ugly watermark on the left shoulder) WHY DID THE LEFT PUPIL TURN OUT LIKE THAT THOUGH Q0Q
