guys my school had a very loud and very obnoxious assembly for the last hour of the day (all the other periods were shorter) about a fundraiser they were having and i talked to my parents and showed them the flyer and our conclusion: iT's a pYrAmiD scHemE! i lOvvEeeEe mY scHoolLLlL sOoOOoooO muCHHHHHHHHHHH! /sarc but srsly the way they even formatted the email about it was comical like slow down with the buzz words buddy :skull: you gotta add adult contacts and they can donate money (or they can add more contacts if you add them as "helpers) which for each $25 donated is one "prize point" and getting prize points gives you rEwarDs (although it's only for the child who registered for their app, the people who are actually donating only get your eternal gratitude) and rewards as in pizza parties during school and going in a limo or some crap i'd much rather just give them money and get stuff tbh. my parents feel the same. like at least for girl scout cookies you know you're GETTING COOKIES and having GOOD FOOD (some of hte other prizes are crazy too bro, like for 20 prize piotns which would be $500 accumulated donations in total you get AIRPODS which you can literally go to google and you'll see listings that are LESS than half of that amount) (i will not be participating in this school fundraiser fyi <3)
