DEMETER // ——- ⚘ -—— WARNING: THE BACKSTORY HAS MENTIONS OF CHILDBIRTH (not in a weird way, Demeter just has a daughter), MADNESS, AND HURTING OTHER CATS. PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO ANY OF THESE THINGS. Backstory: (This is part 2 of Demeter's backstory. If you have not read part 1, which is in my DTA entry part 1, it may not make sense) Soon after leaving the Olympians, Demeter came across an abandoned Twoleg (human) house. She settled down in it, preparing it for her and her coming child. Her child was born without issues, or so it seemed. Demeter named her daughter Persephone, but often calling her Kore (meaning the maiden) as a nickname. As Demeter raised Persephone, she began to have disturbing visions and hallucinations, such as the Twoleg house burning around her. Persephone was the only one who could calm her mother - when she was around Demeter, all returned to normal. But as time went on and Demeter slowly went mad, she began to see Persephone as an enemy. One fateful day, Demeter snapped and lost control of herself, slashing Persephone and blinding her in one eye. Persephone ran away, desperate to escape her mad mother, leaving Demeter alone in the Twoleg house. A couple days passed, and Demeter calmed down and realized what she had done. Heartbroken over hurting and losing her daughter, Demeter packed up her things and decided to return back to the Olympians...
