i spent so long on this if it ends up being horrifyingly similar to someone else’s submission i might uraume myself flag click on her for next design click on words for new words tldr backstory: suika is an ordinary girl, awakens cursed technique when grandpa is killed by a curse. learns that the akizakura family is an ancient sorcerer clan that hasn’t produced a sorcerer in over a hundred years, akizakura ancestor erases family history to protect sorcery-less family from curses extra stuff about cursed technique: stardust only disappears if its used up in an attack (i.e. energy beam or supernova), if its nullified with reverse cursed technique, if its owner commands it to, or if the owner gets too far away. cosmic crucible is very inefficient, so although it has near limitless potential it takes a large cursed energy pool coupled with great cursed energy efficiency and a mastery of the technique to even think about creating a star larger than a golf ball stars actually useable for like the beam attack and stuff are usually at least the size of a baseball if not larger due to the high cursed energy requirement and skill barrier most people who inherited cosmic crucible in the past used the stardust as like a superheated sharp sand or like ogi zenin’s blazing courage covering their weapons with stardust anyone with less than stellar cursed energy reinforcement (think grade 3 and below) cant really defend against the heat and sharpness of stardust alone the domain expansion is “boundless sea of stars” which is basically just an infinite ocean filled with water that looks like a starry night sky. this ocean is surrounded by a pitch black void. its sure hit injects cosmic crucible into the target, continuously forcing them to convert their cursed energy into stardust, which belongs to the caster of the domain. this stardust exits the target’s body in bursts, creating cuts and burns all over their body (basically just malevolent shrine but weaker and drains the target’s cursed energy while giving the owner of the domain more stardust to use) i didn’t include this in the main cursed technique description because neither suika nor atsumori have fully developed their domain (yet) and also because i didnt wanna model it random trivia: akizakura is the japanese name of the cosmos flower so you can probably see the symbolism there the only reason suika emits stardust from her eyes when fighting is because she’s a little goober and thinks it looks cool (with the unintended side-effect of freaking out cursed spirits) by like year 2 of jujutsu high i would say suika is a semi-grade 1 sorcerer. she only entered as grade 3 due to a total lack of control or knowledge of her technique. im not sure if she has the potential for special grade since the potential of cosmic crucible is insane but i would think her cursed energy pool is only somewhere around high grade 1 like if she mastered cursed energy control like sukuna she could but she isn’t that talented in jujutsu the headless dog curse in the beginning is based off an inugami, a dog yokai that is created very violently (look up on wikipedia) the scars on suika’s face and arm are from the inugami curse btw that little blurb about yuki at the end is because after thinking up the cursed technique and ironing it out in my head i realized the most powerful move of it is literally identical to yuki’s so i had to justify it somehow also the smallpox deity’s real name is smallpox hag dont yell at me for getting its name wrong at that point in the timeline that it appears kenny hasn’t given the smallpox hag that new name so im using its real name extra yapping: i tried as much as possible to make this not contradict or interfere with the official canon of jjk but since jjk is ending soon in like 2 weeks this might be immediately invalidated and made impossible to canonize if that happens just adjust the dates of the story or pretend she goes to a different jujutsu high or smth model is kinda rigged for animation but its very rough (bad), since this is my first ever “realistic” model also first real experiment with shading so it looks kinda goofy also the reason the stardust looks like multicolored fire instead of like glowing streaks of dust because im not skilled enough to properly render it in vector so fire is the closest approximation of what it’s supposed to look like i genuinely really like the domain expansion of this technique because i haven’t ever really seen a domain that becomes more effective the more people it catches inside of it good lord i put too much effort into this in creating a backstory for this oc i made a second oc credits: sfx from pixabay “You Jerk” and “Three Years of Youth Overflowing” from JJK S2 OST
