~ Geeky Backstory Stuff ;w; ~ (@CoLLoRBLiND, I would appreciate it if you read it X3) Dexter & Aeolius are brothers. Aeolius is the son of Divinity, keeper of Heaven; Dexter the son of the Devil, keeper of Hell. Long ago, when demons and angels lived together in peace, Divinity and the Devil were married. They were creators of the world. Together worked in harmony as they created earth, each of them with different unique ideas. Soon they had children. Divinity gave birth to two twin boys; Aeolius and Dexter. Aeolius was an angel, and Dexter came out as a demon. The twins got along well. They loved each other. The two of them loved exploring together, and dreamt of sailing across the world. They built maps of buried treasure, and even built their own boat. Nothing could tear them apart; they would always stick to each other's side. However, they didn't know that things would change. The Devil started doing and creating things that Divinity absolutely hated, and the couple started fighting more. And more. And more. Until both of them demanded divorce, and vowed to never talk to each other again. This happened when Divinity shrieked at the Devil to get out of her space, and so she would never see his face again. They agreed that Divinity would take over the skies, and the Devil to take underground. They divided the races of demons and angels into kingdoms: Kingdom of Heaven; Kingdom of Hell. This happened when Aeolius and Dexter were still quite young. The twins were horrified, and Dexter went through a stage of depression. Both of them promised each other that no matter what happened, they would always stick together. Survive. No matter what others said. Demons and angels are supposed to hate each other, and they were currently at war. However Aeolius and Dexter broke this law. Nothing, not anything, could ever tear them apart. So they said. As they grew older, Aeolius began to be more paranoid and scared of his brother, because of what powers he held. Could demons really be trusted? Was it bad that he loved a demon? Could he trust his own brother? Anxious thoughts had cluttered Aeolius's mind. Sometimes Dexter went a little crazy... Angry..... Uncontrollable... Sometimes this happened to much. It scared Aeolius. Was this lovable, cheeky little brother turning into a monster? Possibly....? Every day, Aeolius began to be more and more paranoid of his brother. Until one day, Dexter began to notice the change in his brother's personality. "Are you okay?" Dexter had asked. "You seem more shaky. Afraid. Bags under your eyes. Have you slept? You sure you're okay?" Aeolius had just kept silent. "Are you a-afraid of me?" The angel turned away from his demon brother. After a few months, the twins got into an argument. Which turned into a fight. Dexter would not stop shrieking and cursing at Aeolius saying it was all his fault, tears shimmered in his red eyes. Aeolius would cry and scream as well, not stop yelling that his brother was a psychopath. This hit Dexter too hard. With a yell clawed into pure hatred, Dexter slashed his brother with his razor claws; a blow powerful to his chest. Then Aeolius went still, his eyes boring up at his brother. "You monster," he wheezed. "You really have become a monster." Aeolius's eyes rolled up to his head, breathing his last breath. Dexter was traumatized. Regret clawed its way up his throat, and he burst into shaky tears. He screeched in agony, resting his head against his brother's body until it went cold. He couldn't stop sobbing. It was uncontrollable. He really was a monster. He killed his own brother. He murmured "I'm sorry," and, "I love you," into his brother's ears a million times. But he could undo what he had done. Dexter held up a shaky claw, sucked in his breath, and blowed his claws into his own arm. The pain was excruciating. Blood trickled down his arm as it came screaming out. Screaming to stop. But he continued. The pain was nothing compared to what he felt inside; the emotions he felt. Dexter had scraped, "AEOLIUS" into his arm. And cried. Memories of Aeolius flooded his mind. Exploring. The maps. The boat. He then looked at his arm, blood fizzing. The pain was worth it. ~END~
