After 3 months, I got unbanned. This is what happened: June 3rd, 2024. 10 am. I had clicked the “Scratch” button and expected to see the announcements, the featured projects, and the like. And what I saw was a white screen with words. What I did and why I got banned, I won’t say specifically. However, you should know that somebody important shared a project containing something I don’t believe in. And as some people know, when want to an argue for a side, I ARGUE (sorry for this; its a bad trait). I immediately set to work sending an appeal. I typed a short little message, then clicked the “send” button. Or so I thought. I created another account for some reason (I must’ve lost my mind), and it was quickly blocked. So, I continued to use my alt account. This they did not block-yet. A month and a half later. I hadn’t gotten any messages from the Scratch Team, so-with horror-I realized I had never submitted an appeal. I hastened to send one, and THIS time I actually sent it. Early September. I looked down on my computer apps to see a “1” by my mail. I clicked it. A message from the Scratch Team. I was filled with nervous excitement and pure horror. I didn’t know if they would even allow me back. At the same time, LionCoderAlt finally got banned. Luckily, the message was not one of denial. They asked a few questions, and then they finally unbanned me. It felt so good. I had 907 messages o_O. That is the story of my ban. I regret what I did that caused me to be banned; I still don’t support it, but I won’t be mean about it from now on. Another thing: due to my ban evasion, the Scratch Team has said they could only unblock one account. So, my alt account is essentially lost. Hopefully they’ll unblock them all later, sometime. Finally, I want to thank/shout-out some people -Alex from Scratch Team: for answering my appeals (this sounds like Jake from State Farm lol) -@theonetruepickle: for standing up to what he believed was wrong. Though his account was deleted, I never forgot his intentions. -anyone who was happy I came back: for being happy I came back. If there are any good projects you'd like me to try, put them here! They do NOT have to be by you. Just something you’d think I’d enjoy... Also, make sure it's high quality! https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/35613036 Well, that’s it. Thanks for supporting me :) Follow if you like my content. It will probably get better! #all #mobile #lioncoder10
