Many years ago, Will, the creator of The Ninja, posted the April fools project "The Ninja 6." It was purely a joke pretending to have all sorts of new weapons and mechanics. It was simply a fake game, a prank, and nothing more. Until now. I've spent the past few months working on this little pet project of mine and have decided to share a beta version, a work-in-progress of the game so far. All the new weapons actually work and have some pretty cool mechanics that will be awesome to use once I make completely new levels. Check in later and you might see some new versions of this project showing my continuing progress. Share this with whoever you think will like it. I put a lot of time and effort into this, so if you want to remix this or make an edit, remember: Edit and give credit. DEVLOG: -New mechanic to the hammer -New hammer slash sound -Throwing knives make a comeback (kinda funky tho) -Kunai sounds changed -Sawblade sounds changed -Nunchucks replaced with Kusarigama -Special Level 1 removed -Minor backdrop changes -Special Level 2 removed -Boss visual changed -Cutscene text changed -Spear ninja replaced with Hatchet ninja -Sword ninja replaced with Odachi ninja -Enemy change on level 18 -More minor backdrop changes <----||NEW CHANGES||----> -Boss fight changes have been mostly finished! ^- You face Tyrant Ninja, a powerful warrior who will stop at nearly nothing to defeat you (except for complete, utter humiliation) ^- 2 completely new attacks added and previous attacks have been changed and upgraded! ^- The boss has 5 times as much health, so you'll really need to up your game to beat this guy! 1.3 BETA NOTE: Some levels cannot be beaten. This is normal and only occurs because I haven't properly made levels yet and am having trouble figuring out how in the world the entity summoning lists work. 1.5 BETA NOTE: Finally figured out how item, enemy, fading wall, cracked platform, and bamboo placement lists work! Will be able to create new levels at some point in the near future. 1.6 BETA NOTE: 1.4 and 1.5 are not released as they each didn't have many changes, but .4, .5, and .6 rolled into one has some important changes in total so this version (1.6) was posted.
