Choose to play in either landscape mode or portrait mode. I recommend landscape for computers and tablets, and portrait mode on mobile phones (lock screen orientation/rotation on your phone). Click and swipe up/down and left/right on bubbles with matching colors, to remove them. You can swipe straight lines and 90° turns. Two matching bubbles gives 2*2*2 points. Three matching bubbles gives 3*3*3 points. Four matching bubbles gives 4*4*4 points, etc. All art and code by me (@kriblo). There is some code in there from @RokCoder's excellent leaderboard, but I'm not currently using it because the cloud servers seem unresponsive. Instead, I'm temporarily using my own 5 spot leaderboard, which only uses 1 cloud variable.
