you guys seen the Minecraft movie teaser? yeah what were they thinking ☠️☠️☠️ what I liked: - the visuals and CGI is actually amazing - the live-action ghast, piglins, and wolf look cool (and the leaked bee design, too) - the glimpse of how they use the crafting table makes sense and is pretty neat what I didn't like: - I already know this is about to be a Jamanji type of movie ☠️ - they fr gave Jack Black a blue shirt and called him Steve. no disrespect, but bro is NOT Steve. - the creeper design isn't even lore accurate - if they're gonna make it live-action, they should "unblockify" everything tbh - instead of live action they could've made it animated - these new characters (pls just let it be Steve and Alex) - where is Alex?!?! - they left out the classic mobs (zombie, enderman, skeleton, spider, villager(s)) - they included stuff that isn't even in the game - even though the music in the teaser is fire, they didn't use a classic Minecraft song or at least a recreation/epic version bc the Minecraft movie looks like nonsense, I'm gonna make better designs for the mobs and whatnot if they were actually real. 'Just redesigns and thoughts, not remaking the whole movie lol. This is gonna be a part of a series (that I forgot to announce; whoops) where I do my own take on a few video games if they were realistic and irl. I've been developing one for Sonic already, I just need to actually draw and/or sketch the designs. This will be worked on every now and then as I do the other stuff (and still in the order I listed in my update project).
