"Lit!" She called. "Is Spark with you?" Lit turned back to see his mate and pup. But only one of them. His eye's widened in concern. "I thought he was with you!" Ruby shook her head. "I thought he was with you! I can only carry one pup at a time you know!" Lit turned away, ashamed. "I'll search for him, Ruby. You have to run. They'll come for you," Lit instructed. "But-" Ruby shook her head. "No. I'll go after him. Take Eve." Lit wanted to protest, but didn't. There was no winning an arguement with Ruby. He nodded. "Fine. I will take Eve to Lone Mountain where she'll be safe." Ruby nodded and headed back into her homeland, Sky Pack. "Spark!" She called. Where was Mom? Where was Dad? Spark felt rain drop on his head. He couldn't keep up with his mother in the rain. He was too small. He growled as he remembered his sister, EVE, getting carried instead of him. It was always, Eve, Eve, Eve. Never him. Just because Eve had a breathing problem didn't mean he shouldn't get any love! Spark looked back at Sky Pack. It seemed peaceful. Like they had no idea what was going on right now. He growled. He never wanted to go back there again. He probably wasn't going to find his mother and father, so he had to choose a pack. He walked forward and slipped into a ditch and the world went black. ( The next morning ): Spark yawned as he awoke, perfectly dry and on the sandy beaches of Tide Pack. How did he get here? He shrugged and brushed the sand off him. It seems that his parents didn't find him. They were probably too absorbed in Eve to care about him.
His mother is inside the project, but she's dead. His father, Lit was around for some time, but then died of some mysterious illness. His sister, Eve grew up in Rain Pack and then became a loner and then became a Sky Pack member.
