The KAT-21 is an amphibious AFV platform developed by Purrda Heavy for the Naidun Self-Defense Force in 2009. Its main goal was to provide a modern solution for the potential defense of Nekoshima and Koganeshima Islands. The KAT-21-105 is an amphibious 105mm light tank based on the KAT-21 chassis.
