Ryan Static, or GLITCHSTATIC_1995 as he's known online, is a fan of Super Mario and makes stories about how he hacks into some game's files and messes around with them. One day he buys a SM64 cartridge to hack it, and he finds a file called ETERNAL_STAR. EXE. He runs the file thinking it's just a thing to make the game more fun, but oh- he could never be so wrong! He starts playing and quickly notices that something ain't right. There are flowers that dance, a toad NPC wearing a party hat, but when he gets to Wet Dry World, the stage's portrait is... different, there's just an image of a star on it. And the mission's name is "JUMPM4N". The stage is also different, it's not the negative emotional aura inducing water level, it's a huge open plain with a few trees and bushes and goombas. Suddenly, a low-textured dark-colored Mario starts running towards him, Ryan tries to run but JUMPM4N is faster. He catches Ryan and- even though Ryan already had 2 lives left- he gives Ryan a game over. Ryan uploads screenshots of the event to reddit and tells the story. But the program is still running, and JUMPM4N is still out there.......
