the skinny lowdown of my first day of eighth grade: 1st hour (PE): our principal talked to us about school rules (which we all know by now) 2nd hour (ELA): i have one of my forensics coaches as my ela teacher :D we talked about what we need to bring for an independent reading book 3rd hour (geometry): our geometry teacher is both a cubs AND a bears fan. shame. anyways he introduced himself (he plays fortnite????) and assigned us to make a “virtual room” with our hobbies, favorite things, etc 4th hour (band): I LOVE BAND SO SO MUCH anyways our band teacher told us about our concert dates and rules for band class and then gave us a google form so we could do an “about me” kahoot for the whole class 5th hour (science): IM SO HAPPY I HAVE SCIENCE WITH MY BEST FRIEND :DD our teacher had us take home a science contract for us to sign, told us about what we would do this year, and had us do a kahoot about her (it was all guessing and i SOLD) WIN: i stayed in the science room for WIN and we did a name thingy (idk it was uneventful) lunch: i ate food at the same table that i sat at last year with the same people :sob: 6th hour (german 2): we picked out our german names (im astrid just like in 6th and 7th grade) and went over rules, we also started taking notes and i have german with my bestie but she sits across the room and i have to sit next to a naughty kid that i dont like :skull: 7th hour (social studies): i have my archery coach as my social studies teacher :0 we discussed the definition of history and prehistory, listed the top 10 most important event in human history, and talked about the dividing point between prehistory and history AND WE HAVE HOMEWORK IN SS ALREADY WHAT THE HECK
