Hey hey! Sorry for being offline most of yesterday and all of today, depression is awesome that way lol- take a random oc doodle as recompense for my inactivity :) Character is really recent, does not have decided pronouns yet, I only named them while thinking yesterday (one of the few things besides Xiolla and Seren I did think about yesterday--) Arlo's original idea came from a dream portion I had where I saw a albino bat who had injured it's wing bond with a calico cat gardener who makes flower crowns I sat down and searched bat species today and found one I liked and wanted to base Arlo on, I chose the northern long ear bat, it's got the floofiness and big ears like Arlo did in my dream so I felt it was perfect <3 It also felt good to draw this, I had that dream months ago now and the note about it was sitting in my "random ideas and junk" text file since- Also one extra note just in case, I am like 99% sure recompense means something along the lines of paying someone back for something / apologies?? If it doesn't then... Whoops? I was too lazy to open the dictionary site-
