INDEX +character descriptions =relations cheatsheet ~meet cutes -height %fun facts :Bug Juice Past +CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS -Lynx, an activist who lived half his life as an orphan and got hit by a truck -Jones, a bipolar circus performer who has one eye and can detach his body parts at will -Izz, a kid-core former foster care child who has ties to the government and daddy issues -Lucy, a paranoid government official who can't keep her stories (and her friends) straight, and suffers from too much power and a parasite infecting her brian -Sting, the Sheriff, Military Captain, and widower who has beef with anyone taller than him -Anthony, an explosive mess (with emphasis on mess) who can't keep a relationship for the life of him -Belle, the mayor's assistant who may have Stockholm syndrome and is the said "straight" friend -Mattea, the mayor's helper who always does everything and then goes home and vents to his amazing partner -Skylar, the amazing partner who can't get over how bad their ex hurt them -Arica, a lesbian pirate who barely speaks =CHARACTER RELATIONS CHEATSHEET Grey-doesn't know purple-ignores yellow-unfortunate acquaintance orange-friends blue-besties pink-crush red-hates green-complicated ~HOW EVERYONE MET (editable among request, no spoilers >:) Lynx and Jones: As shown in YOUR D3AD, LYNX, Jones met Lynx directly when they died. They had such a cute meet and I love how it turned out. Also, Jones was planning on romance directly when they met. For lore reasons, the green eyes was unimportant... (shh they don't know don't give it away :) Another important meeting to mention is how Belle meets Lucy, Sting, Izz's mom and Izz. When Lucy came in, Belle was at a coffee shop, minding her own business. She went up to her and started rambling about how she's trying to get more into the political standing of Moonshy, as she was a government official in her life. Lucy mentioned that she's running for mayor. Belle congratulated her, saying that she would definitely vote for her. Lucy said she just needs someone to help her as Assistant Mayor. Belle says that she hopes she will find that. Lucy sighs, saying that she was just asking her if she wanted to help her. Belle gets excited and says yes. Lucy states that she currently has a place near the capital building if Belle would like to come over, but she would need to mind her friend and his kid, Izz. Belle ends up coming over, and they have tea. Izz and Belle meet while Belle is drinking tea. Izz is 7-and-a-half at the time, so she's absolutely wild. She ends up spilling some of the tea on the stove onto her face, so she screams. Belle runs over and helps her, and Izz gets horridly scarred. Belle says that it makes her look tough, but Izz feels insecure. Belle makes her a paper mask, and Izz has been wearing it ever since. Belle meets Sting and his wife that day, too. She's helping Izz after she spills boiling water on her face, and Izz's mother, Janet, comes out and tries to comfort Izz. She introduces herself and Sting to Belle, and they start talking. Sting introduces himself as the Head of Police. -HEIGHT Jones: 6'8 Sting: 6'6 Mattea: 6'0 Lynx: 5'11 Skylar: 5'8 Lucy: 5'8 Arica: 5'7 Izz: 5'6 Anthony: 5'5 Belle: 4'11 %FUN FACTS LYNX -Lynx's OG design was a Minecraft Cave Spider named Corrie -Lynx can shoot spiderwebs like Spiderman when nervous -Lynx is a Libra, being born on October 3 -Lynx's name is based on a type of cat -Lynx was origonially going to be really rude -Lynx is a momma's boy and a people pleaser -Lynx's personality type is ENFP-T -Lynx is from Reno and is amazing at most card games, like blackjack and poker, but barely gambles -Lynx and Jones often go to antique shops and shops -Lynx and Anthony often go out to eat when one of them is angry, and Lynx usually gets the kid's mac and cheese -Lynx is obsessed with reptiles and often asks Jones to get one, so Anthony got one. -Lynx keeps his smaller eyes closed most of the time. JONES -Jones did not have hands or pants at first, but I added them later -Jones works with multiple circus performers such as acrobats and magicians. -Jones was afraid of clowns but started to work in the circus, so has gotten over it -Jones is getting a slight redesign soon! -Jones is a Pices, being born on March 16 -Jones was originally going to be a villain, but now he's a sweet bean -Jones's phone case is a circus tent -Jones is my favorite lil guy to draw -Jones' room is neat, except for a corner full of stuffed animals that he jumps in when stressed. -Jones is really good at unicycleing and card tricks -Jones hates how Lynx and Anthony gamble sometimes (sore loser). -Jones' limbs can detach, and he lost his neck. IZZ -Izz's OG design was based on LavenderTowne's Childcore character, but after that I saw a piece of Tubbo fanart and put some design elements in there. -Izz's OG name was Raz -Izz is Ace -Izz's name is stolen from my cousin -Izz has wings -Izz's parents were absent and she grew up mostly with Mattea -Izz was born in Moonshy, unlike most who d13d -Izz's bracelet is something she made for herself because she loves purple -Izz is so rude to strangers its not even silly :""( LUCY -Lucy was the hardest to design -Lucy is based on a moth -Lucy and Belle are best friends and go to get tea all the time, and Izz used to go when she was younger -Lucy is my favorite aggressive politician -Lucy always saves time for hanging out with her "friends", Belle and Sting. -Lucy plays the violin -Lucy loves to learn how to use new weapons, like axes -Lucy starts to care more about Belle after she meets Arica STING -Sting's origonal name was Stinger -Sting was going to have a mauled face, but I couldn't figure out how it could happen, or draw it consistently. -Sting died in the military -Sting always wanted to have a family -Sting loves american football and begs Lucy and Belle to watch it with him, and they watch softball instead -Sting likes the combo of maroon and green -Sting and his child, before she left, used to go on walks. -Sting had wings back in the day, but they broke -Sting knows how to use a lot of weapons -Sting is allergic to brustlesprouts -Sting is being changed to the head of Police. ANTHONY -Anthony used to be really steampunk :-) -Anthony d1ed in an explosion, and has extensive knowledge of Explosives engineering -Anthony is an expert of mixology -Anthony has a pet snake named Cuddles, who he got specifically for Lynx to be better friends -Anthony has some of the funniest lines, along with the most 4th wall breaks -Anthony uses 90's slang that I get from my mother -Anthony and Izz end up being besties -Anthony loves a restaurant called "Jewlies" BELLE -Belle has her OG design -Belle is good at luck-based games, gardening and volunteering -Belle is stuck in Moonshy's capitol because Lucy tells her not to leave -Belle loves to listen to Lucy play the violin, but Lucy hates playing for anyone else. Belle sits outside the room where she playsand listens. Lucy knows. -Belle is very sensitive to touch, but doesn't hate it. Just very aware. - Belle collects antique teacups and saucers, often using them in Lucy and her's tea parties -Belle is constantly ignored by Izz, but she knows that it's because she is hurting. -Belle ends up getting married. Not to a man. -Belle really has no say in the political status of Moonshy. MATTEA -Mattea is based on that bug that's everywhere in California that look like emo pumkin seeds -Mattea spells their name "Mattea" and "Metea" interchangibially, because I am inconsistiant lol -Matea used to be a really awful character when Bug Juice was way darker, as he was a manufacturer, had an addiction to adult film and was basicially Valintino from Hazbin Hotel -Mattea also eats atrocous food combos, like strawberries and anchovies -Mattea is a butler -Matea really really likes Skylar, but really, really doesn't like Jones. SKYLAR -Skylar is a scientist -Skylar was origonally going to be a one-off gag character, but while I was writing scene 2.1 I really wanted to give Ant a redemption arc -Skylar is non-binary but uses they/he -Skylar is super duper grumpy D:{ -Skylar died due to a fallen tree, being one of the only characters that die to natural causes. -Skylar is a Scorpio, being born on November 19th -Skylar and Anthony died within the same week, and started dating while they were freshly dead -Skylar is based on a Termite, which I have eaten -Skylar also has wings. He uses them to fly to meetings. -Skylar is lactose intolerant -Skylar is constantly cold, begging to cuddle Matea. He obliges. :BUG JUICE'S PAST Shown in the project.
