Yes, I've been poking around this website LONG before I finally joined. Blop has actually been around since at least 2014. (The look your're used too is from October 2015.) Blop was inspired by this gif: https://cdn2.scratch.mit.edu/get_image/gallery/426387_200x130.png?v=1402579963.0 In the same way Sonic was inspired by Felix the cat.
