1. Test your circuit prior to testing any materials (ground yourself to Earth, and touch the space key on the MaKey MaKey). 2. Match the alligator clips to the arrows to avoid confusion. 3. Test materials to determine if they're conductors or insulators (you can test up to 4 materials at a time). 4.
