But PLEASE read this section first, or some of the drawings might not make sense! ^^) Small tale for funsies :3 ~~~~~ - The Tale of the Black Pearl - Once upon a time, there was a fearsome pirate. No one knows her true name, but they call her Black Pearl, as she was as beautiful as a pearl, but as merciless as the black seas. (A/N: I chose the name because of the black sugar tapioca pearls in her design.) She commanded a ship called 'The Order', which was rumored to be unsinkable. Unlike many pirates, her crew didn't raze seaside towns, only taking what they needed, and had a peaceful relationship with many small towns. They destroyed any ship that attacked them, even sinking entire navy fleets. The strangest thing about the ship wasn't that it was unsinkable, or even strangely powerful, but it was the fact that The Order always patrolled in the same area every day, as if it were looking for something or waiting for something to happen. Every day, nothing would happen, and Black Pearl could be seen looking into the horizon on The Order's deck. This always happened, no matter the weather. The ship and its crew weren't afraid of thunderstorms, hurricanes, tsunamis, or floods. The Order always seemed strangely untouched, unsinkable. Or was it? No one was sure after it mysteriously disappeared. All the stories say that one day, there was a fog so heavy that you couldn't see 2 feet in front of you, let alone the sea. The next day, The order wasn't there, and it hasn't been seen since. Some say that Black Pearl was looking for a paradise and found it on that foggy day. Others say that she loved the sea so much, she jumped on that foggy day to hide her d3@th from everyone, even her own crew, and without their leader, The Order disbanded. The last common theory is that the sea itself was so angry that The Order wouldn't sink that it swallowed up the entire ship and everyone on it. Whatever you believe, it can't be proven... ~~~~~ No more mysterious voice time :3 I'm going to clear the mysteries of that story. - Black Pearl's real name is Anika, which means sweet, like boba! ^^ She just prefers to be called Black Pearl publicly because she thinks it sounds more mysterious and piratey. - The Order is, in fact, sinkable. it just hasn't been because because Anika's girlfriend is a sea monster who will rip your boat in half if you dare try to attack her amazing partner. Her name is Beryl, btw :3 - Speaking of Beryl, they met when Anika's family was on a fishing trip. Anika was born into nobility, but ran away to be a pirate so she could be with Beryl. - The Order drifted around the same patch of sea every day because that's where Beryl lived, and she couldn't take on a human form unless she had loved a human for 20 years. - Beryl can manipulate weather, and protected The Order during storms and other natural disasters. She was also the one who created the thick fog and guided the crew as they sailed away. - Anika, Beryl, and the crew sailed to an uninhabited tropical island where they started their own colony, using The Order as a starting point. Sometimes, a couple of them would sail back to the mainland, but it was never Anika, for she was too infamous for her own good. - Their town, Saccharon, was eventually abandon, but instead of a creepy vibe like most ghost towns, when you walk through the remains of Saccharon, you feel as if something great has occured there, lost to the sands of time. - I'm 90% sure I forgot something, but I can't remember what- ._. ~~~~~ If I win Anika, I'd like to draw the entire story, if that's okay with you :3
