Be careful every body segment of this boss will inflict damage so don't get yourself circled. I think the Rocket weapon works pretty good against this boss If you recognize this boss from somewhere, then you're crazy. I literally just made this guy up in my brain. The concept may seem similar but it is otherwise entirely created by me. (The character and setting, not the project.)
